Independence? Day...

Well, folks, here we are on the verge of another Fourth of July. But it's awfully difficult this year for me to wish you a happy Independence Day. 

"Why?", you ask.

Because we are further away from "independence" today...than we were during the American Revolution that produced this holiday.

If you don't think so... you aren't paying attention to the facts.

First,  we have a sitting president...with no papers. You and I could not get a job at Wal-Mart with the credentials he has produced. 

He does not have an American birth certificate or he would have shown it by now. A Hawaiian certificate of "live birth" with no state seal is meaningless.  Go try to get a driver's license in your state with that!

They're laughing at us in Kenya and planning to establish a monument at Obama's birth place!  Truly. Google it. Kate's tellin' ya the truth.

Our constitution requires that a president be a natural born citizen of the United States.   He cannot prove that he is. And for some hair-brained reason...no one bothered to check before he took office.  They used to do that, you know.  It's the job of the State Department to verify those things. 

He has also gone to a great deal of trouble to hide his school documents.  They are under lock and key.  Hmmm... and you thought he was going to be "transparent". 

Then there is this issue of the stimulus bill...which is not a "stimulus" bill at all. It is the largest pork barrel tax hike that the United States has ever had... with 9,000 earmarks.  Earmarks...which we were told during the campaign...would not happen.  Can you say 9,000?  

Troubling, to be sure, but the biggest trouble with that...is that the men and women we elected to represent us... to consider these things and decide if "we the people" want them ... our trusted elected officials... did not even read the bill before passing it.  They don't to this day know what, exactly they passed!

The Kenyan pretender said, "pass it"... and they did.  Why?  Was he using the Jedi mind trick or something? 

 I know...most of them were Democrats... but surely there are one or two dems that have enough sense to know that their constituents want them to read a bill before they pass it... or do they? 

And then there is the middle east apology tour... where the usurper from Kenya and Indonesia bowed before a muslim king and quoted the koran...and said that America is a muslim country...not a Christian country... and called us all "cowards".  

Were you not watching the news?  Maybe you aren't a news watcher.  I can't say I blame you.  There are only five or six companies now that own the major stations and they all have a conflict of interest when it comes to reporting the facts. 

All but Fox.  They can't buy out Fox...and it really chaps them. Maybe that's why Fox has been leading in the ratings... maybe people are waking up.  But I digress...

I was telling you why I'm finding it difficult to wish you a happy Independence Day.   And the bottom line, folks...is that you are not independent...and wishing you so...will not make it happen.

You are no longer independent. In fact...you are becoming more and more DE pendent on the government. That is what this administration wants. That is what Marxist, Socialists always want.

They want you and your children so stupidly blind and dependent that you just bow down and say, "yes, master" when they tell you how much of your income they will take and how they will spend it...whether you like it or not.

 "Yes, sir, master"...when they tell you that you cannot have the medicine or surgery you require...because you are too old, or not important enough or they just plain don't have enough doctors for that"

"Yes, boss"... when they say you can no longer educate your own children in the way you see fit. They are being groomed for a "changed" country, doncha know?

"Oh, thank you, great master"...when they tell you that you can work on the assembly line for twelve hours a day and get an extra loaf of bread because you turned in your neighbor for having unlicensed meetings at his house  that involved a religion that was not sanctioned by the state.

Think that's too over the top?  I guess you didn't hear Obama's statement then...about his beloved grandmother that died with cancer just before the election. 

He was explaining that one of the ways he could cut costs in the the very unhealthy "health care" plan he so badly wants... is to do like they did for his grandmother.  

In the April 14 interview, Obama questioned whether expensive procedures for the terminally ill reflect a "sustainable model" for health care.

"You just get into some very difficult moral issues" when considering whether "to give my grandmother, or everybody else's aging grandparents or parents, a hip replacement when they're terminally ill. That's where I think you just get into some very difficult moral issues. The chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health-care bill out here."

Although Obama claimed that he would have paid out of pocket for his grandmother's hip replacement "just because she's my grandmother," the message was unmistakable. Obama is willing to cut costs by letting the terminally ill die.

Think about that, folks. He was willing to "pay out of his pocket" for his grandmother. But what about those of us who cannot financially afford to do that?  

Are you listening, Baby boomers?  Because he is talking about you...not your grandmother.

Gee folks...I didn't even get to mention the part about where the government took over the auto industry and the banking industry. Did anyone out there study socialism and it's effects in civics class??  Anyone? 

So...sad as it may be. I cannot wish you a Happy 4th. Go ahead and have a picnic and eat some ice cream...and when it gets dark, enjoy the fireworks.  But please... take a moment when you are going oooo and ahhhh at all the pretty displays... to remember that they actually signify...the rockets red glare...the bomb bursting in air... that gave proof through the night...that our American flag was still there.  Real men fought and shed their blood for the freedoms that are so easily being wrested from us now.

 It's night again, folks. I just pray that when the dawn comes, our flag...will still be there.  As for our great American holiday... I will be displaying my flag upside down this year. That is to signal  that I believe my country is in great distress.

A Preview of America?

As I write this, there are tens of thousands of Iranian citizens filling the streets in protest. They are protesting rigged elections in Iran that put the insane dictator, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, back in power.  And they are giving their lives...just to make this statement.

Just put the word Iran in the search engine of your Twitter... and read the pleas for help and cries for justice that are going out by the thousands  from Iranians with cell phones.

They are telling of injustices and abuse that we, in America can only imagine.  Of government militia riding motor scooters into crowds and slinging axes, knives and electric batons at them.  Children are dying...as I write this. 

A woman wept and told of  just seeing a twelve year old boy die near her...just an hour ago. And another woman near her was shot in the head... but asking...for freedom.

This is a travesty...and what is our "president" doing about it? Is he giving them any encouragement at all in their quest for freedom. Nope.  He is silent on the matter. Silent.

And their pitiful cries for someone to stand with them...for America, who is supposed to be a beacon of light and hope to those less fortunate...are going unheeded. 

If you will take a moment to notice the next time you watch the news...their signs are in English.  English, people. They do not speak English. Don't you wonder why their signs are in English?? 

Because they are crying out to the free world to hear them...to help them.  To, at least stand with them in their hour of desperation.  Will you?  

If you Twitter...just go write a message of hope. Of prayer. Of encouragement. Trust me...someone there will read it...and it may be the last thing they read.  Because, they are dying for what they believe...right now.  This moment.  

And while they are dying in Iran... our Pentagon has just issued a test as part of a mandatory anti-terrorism refresher course that has among the questions, "Which of the following is an example of low-level terrorism activity?"

Want to know the answer?  Ok...let's look at the choices.  

The exam taker is given four possible answers: "Attacking the Pentagon," "IEDs," "Hate crimes against racial groups," and... "Protests."   The correct answer was... protests.  Protests?

Does anyone still have a copy of the constitution? Or did we throw them all out and consider them unnecessary when Obama the "chosen one" took office?  

Listen folks...this is serious. This is dead serious. To equate citizens expressing themselves to any degree with terrorism.. is headed down a road where all dissent is suspect and questionable.   It is headed down the road that Iran is on...right now...as I write this.   Please take a moment to pray for them. Pray for God to help them in their quest for freedom. And for Him to help America...in our current struggle to maintain ours.   Kate~

 

Who Else Is Obama Scaring?

 I've been scared of Barack Hussein Obama since the first time I  heard he might run for president and began doing research on him.  I told you all back then how frightening the man was and how unbelievably scary the thought of his becoming president was.

But it happened anyway.

Now I'm hearing many other people express their fears. Fears of what might become of America as a result of electing this man as our 44th president.  Their fears are justified. And this morning I want to share with you the fears of a man who knows America and knows how to  manage real change.

Who is he?  He's Lou Pritchett.

Lou Pritchett is one of corporate America’s true living legends... an acclaimed author, dynamic teacher and one of the world’s highest rated speakers.

Successful corporate executives everywhere recognize him as the foremost leader in Change Management . Lou changed the way America does business by creating an audacious concept that came to be known as “partnering.” Pritchett rose from soap salesman to Vice-President, Sales and Customer Development for Proctor and Gamble and over the course of 36 years, made corporate history.

The following is a personal letter he wrote to Barack Obama. You can verify on Snopes, if you like.  But it's authentic. Mr. Pritchett, himself wrote it.

Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer ‘wind mills’ to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg. which provides the highest standard of living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use ‘extortion’ tactics against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O’Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

The Killing Of A Killer

Ok,  folks, I'm gonna try to blog this as sensitively as I can. I know it is a hot button issue.  And I know a lot of innocent women got caught up in the misdeed before they really understood what they were doing...and now they suffer terrible guilt. 

I want you to understand that I do not blame them nor hold them in contempt.  The media driven madness on this issue is powerful, emotional and mind bending. 

So if you were duped by the left to have an abortion...and now regret it. I am not talking to you.  I hurt for you.  I was duped on another issue regarding reproduction and still bear the pain of it. So I do understand.  

But in light of recent events, I must speak out. 

The event?  The death of George Tiller.  Also known as "Tiller the Baby Killer.  And before you write me telling me I "forgot" to honor him with an MD after his name. Let me say this.  I did not forget.  A piece of paper...does not make one a "doctor" in my book.

There's been a lot said in the news lately about the horror of this mans' murder.   But not much mention of the horror of the more than 60,000 babies he butchered.

Yes, I said "butchered".  And I said "baby".   Let's get the lingo straight here.   A "fetus" is a convenient name  for baby killers to use so they don't feel so bad about what they are doing.  But fetus is only a latin word meaning "young one"... "little one".  Why do we have to speak Latin when referring to an abortion?   Duh...        because the liberal media doesn't want us to think about the fact that we are killing babies!   

Really... did you ever hear someone say "Hey...let's give her a fetus shower!" ?

Or, "Have you thought of a name for your fetus?"  How about, "Are you having a boy fetus or a girl fetus?"

Give me break!  We all know it is baby!  "Fetus" is merely Latin for a young person...a little person.  But in English it sounds like what the left wants you to believe...it's a blob of tissue...of non descript cells.  

 People...wake up.  Do you know that a baby has fingerprints at just 10 weeks after conception?  At that point the mom has not even missed her third period and may only just suspect she is pregnant.  Check it out  This is what a baby looks like when the mom is only 12 weeks pregnant.

Now the FBI uses fingerprints to determine identity...don't they?

So does a baby...with fingerprints, but no birth certificate yet, not have an identity?  By the FBI's standards, they do.  Just...no one has had the opportunity to see them yet.  

Now many people will tell you it's perfectly alright for a someone to "terminate" their pregnancy at this stage for any reason.  And they don't even think about how that's going to be done.  Or how it's going to feel to the baby.  

The baby is lying in a soft warm liquid in mommy's womb at the time. You viewed the above photo...and we can agree...it's a little baby with fingerprints and fingernails and a little face...and a beating heart...right? Or is there something wrong with your eyes? 

  Ok...this is about to get really graphic. So if you have a weak stomach...consider yourself warned!   A very common method for the first trimester is the salt or saline method. 

 Salt Poisoning a.k.a. "Candy Apple Babies:"
Most often used after the first trimester (first three months).  The abortionist injects a strong salt solution directly into the amniotic sac (fluid surrounding the baby).  The baby breathes and swallows it, is poisoned, struggles, and sometimes convulses. It takes over an hour to kill the baby.  The mother delivers the dead baby in a day or two (sometimes alive!).  Why "candy apple" babies?   The corrosive effect of the salt solution often burns and strips away the outer layer of the baby's skin.  This exposes the raw, red, glazed-looking subcutaneous layer of tissue.   The baby's head sometimes looks like a candy apple.  Some have also likened this method to the effect of napalm on innocent war victims.  This technique was originally developed in the concentration camps in Nazi Germany.

 Now if the mom has waited til she is 4 to 6 months pregnant, the baby will be...very much more developed, is breathing the liquid around him, has hair, eyebrows, along with fingerprints and nails. He yawns, stretches, sucks his thumb.

The average abortionist at this point will use dilation and evacuation.

Dilatation & Evacuation (D&E)

Performed during the second trimester (4-6 months) of pregnancy. This method has largely replaces saline and chemical abortions, which too frequently resulted in live births, a complication from the abortionist's perspective! A pliers-like instrument is needed because the baby's bones are calcified, as is the skull. There is no anesthetic for the baby. The abortionist inserts the instrument into the uterus, seizes a leg or other part of the body and, with a twisting motion, tears it from the baby's body. This is repeated again and again. The spine must be snapped, and the skull crushed to remove them. The nurse's job is to reassemble the body parts to be sure that all are removed.  Many nurses refuse to participate in this on religious grounds, and that is the subject of recent legislation that is attempting to  force them participate.

Now, I want to  talk  to you about George Tiller's former occupation. 

Women would come to him in the last trimester of their pregnancy. Sometimes the  last days.  Mind you, we've already seen that from at least 10 weeks on (the author believes from conception on) but we can at least agree that this is a living, breathing, , little person with hair and eyebrows that sometimes sucks it's thumb in the womb...from ten weeks on.

   But now we have a full term baby. If it was born...we would care for it and call it premature and cuddle it and name it... but mom doesn't want it.

The reasons various  moms gave Tiller were "I can't go to concerts anymore"... "the father left me and I feel panicked"  "I like sports and can't participate now"  no really, folks...those are some of the documented reasons they gave for doing what I am about to tell you.  Again...I warn you this is graphic.

It's called D&X or Partial Birth...  Now the term "partial birth" ought to tell us how barbaric and brutal this procedure is. I mean listen to it...the baby is...partially born!  "Partial...Birth"  But people are jaded to the term and cannot even imagine what is done to this little innocent, ready to be born...baby. 

The cervix (womb)is dilated (forced open) to allow passage of a  forceps.  A foot or lower leg is located and pulled into the vagina.   The baby is extracted in breech fashion until the head is just inside the cervix. The baby's legs hang outside the woman's body.  With the baby face-down, scissors are plunged into the baby's head at the nape of the neck and spread open to enlarge the wound. No anesthesia is given to the baby while this being done, mind you. 

A suction tip is inserted and the baby's brain is removed. The skull collapses and the baby is delivered.  Sharp and suction curettage is continued until the walls of the womb are clean.

This, folks, is what Tiller, the baby killer was doing in his clinic. He did it to over 60,000 little babies.  Please excuse me if I don't feel bad for his untimely death.  And if I secretly feel relieved that someone...put a stop to it. 

I keep hearing people justify this barbaric procedure by saying "it's legal".    Well, folks...slavery was "legal" at one time in this country. And I think we're all very aware the atrocities that were perpetrated on slaves.  But just to refresh your memory, let me show you a photo of a man named Peter, who lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1863.

That is a photograph. Peter was a real person, folks. And that was... legal...  

Here's what the law said in Virginia in 1705.

"If any slave resists his master...correcting such a slave, and shall happen to be killed in such correction...the master shall be free of all punishment...as if such accident never happened."

Are you ok with that?   Ya think it's barbaric?  I do.   But it was "legal".    It was legal...but was it right? Was it moral?  Did it need to stop?  Are we now glad that some people sacrificed their lives in order to make it  stop?

John Brown did.  He was a white man that was called a religious zealot because in 1859 he led 21 men on a raid of a federal arsenal in order to arm slaves so they could escape and defend themselves. It went badly for him...but I'm glad he tried.

James and Lucretia Mott as well as David and Lydia Child used their home as a station in the underground railroad,an organization that helped blacks escape to freedom.   They risked their lives to do this.  Slavery...afterall was "legal".

Legal...should never be an excuse for allowing injustice, folks.

You know, those who helped slaves escape could have been righteously hanged under the law for what they did. But we call them heroes now...and teach our children about them in school.

They were just people, though, who had had enough of socially acceptable and very legal...barbarism. And they said, "enough".

Think about it.  That's exactly what happened to Scott Roeder last week.  He just got tired of seeing the "law" allow the brutal, barbaric killing of innocent babies.  He just had enough.  

I can understand that.  And in light of history, I have to wonder if some day we will think differently about his actions...and name his name with honor.   I'm just sayin' folks... things change.  People wake up and see how wrong they thought "right" was. 

We now have a black president.  When scarcely 150 years ago, you could have been hanged for teaching him  to read or helping him escape.  

Don't be too quick to condemn Scott Roeder.

Treason and Treachery

I've watched ad nauseum the last few days as bobo began his middle east apology tour.   And I'm still shaking my head. 

You know, folks, I thought I was joking during the campaign when I said if he got elected he would probably apologize to the muslims for letting the twin towers damage their airplanes... but here he is...doing just that.  And proudly proclaiming his muslim heritage. Quoting the koran...numerous times...and proudly announcing to the middle east that his "full" name... is Barack Hussein Obama. Aname I was criticized for using in my blog.   Yep...I was called a "racist" for using that name.

Well... now that he's out of the closet and proudly proclaiming it himself... can we use it without being called "racist"?

Probably not. Libs have their own set of rules they play by and change according to convenience.  Huge double standards.

So...whadaya think now?  Was Kate going too far during the campaign?  Was she a little over the top in her assessment of bo?

Barely 100 days, folks, and he has already gotten us in more debt than we will ever pay off...and socialized major industries. He's apologized to our enemies and declared that we are not a Christian nation...but a muslim nation. 

But yesterday was the cherry on top.  He actually said that we are "partners" with islam. Oh I know...it should be capitalized as a proper noun...but I cannot force myself to honor such a blood thirsty, murderous, mutilating, woman berating, child molesting, just plain evil "religion" with a capital letter.

I won't. ever...

And I will not be part of a "covenant" with islam. I don't care what bobo the clown proclaims.  My covenant is with Israel, and with God.  Our roots in this country are Judeo-Christian. And he cannot change that by proclaiming otherwise.

The thing I am wondering this morning, though, is where the heck the ACLU is now?

I mean...my child cannot say a prayer over her lunch in school because of the supposed "separation of church and state" that the first amendment  states.  Yet...Bo can offer a "partnership" with a religion... with islam... on behalf of America?

Why aren't the libs crying separation now?   Why aren't you? 

I know I am.  I'm calling my congressman after I post this and asking for a public retraction and an apology from this scallywag.

I don't really think I'll get it.  But I intend to take a stand.  He has NO right to make covenants with religions on my behalf. He is thoroughly out of line now.  And I hope you will call your congress person after you read this...and make a similar statement.

This is serious, folks. This is very serious. This is a set up against Israel.  He has already stated that Iran has a "right" to obtain nuclear weapons...   Iran...who has made no bones about the fact they want to wipe Israel off the map.

Now he declares that the United States is in "partnership" with islam?   Read your Bibles, folks. We are clearly in the last days.

The one who curses Israel...will be cursed.  The one who blesses Israel will be blessed. 

Israel is and always has been special to God.  The Bible is full of warning to those who would come against her. God says that to come against Israel is to stick your finger in His eye. 

We have been blessed as we partnered with Israel.  We courting "cursed" to partner with her enemies. 

Take a stand politically... and pray. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray for the removal of this treasonous president from office.  Pray.   Kate~

Obama man...

The Odd Couple

Someone sent me this video today and it touched my heart so much that I just had to share it with you, folks.  There is so much truth in the statement at the end.   How I wish that America could learn from it...  Enjoy it and be blessed! Kate~

She Matters...

Years ago, I heard a story about a couple who were walking on the beach.  They were walking along, talking and enjoying the fresh air.  Every now and again, the woman would see a little starfish on the shore, stop and pick it up and toss it back into the sea so that it could live.

After awhile the man laughed and said, "you're wasting your time, you know. Thousands of them wash up every night. What possible difference can you make doing this?"

With that...she picked up another one...tossed it into the sea and looking her companion full in the face said, "It made a difference to that one!" 

Well, I thought of that story this morning while I was reading about a growing problem in the world. A problem that you may have thought ended with the abolition of slavery.  I know, I did. But I was wrong.

Slavery not only still exists...but is now said to be the second largest criminal industry in the world.  Yes...I said, SLAVERY.

Over twelve million people worldwide are bought and sold for forced labor or sexual exploitation.  80% are female. 50% are children.  The majority are forced into the commercial sex trade.

Does that turn your stomach the way it did mine?

32 Billion dollars a year is made off the trafficking of human beings.  And that is an overwhelming thing to think about. So most of us just...don't. 

But remembering that little story about the couple on the beach touched me this morning...and made me realize that, though I cannot do everything...I can do something.

And so I decided that one thing I can do is to tell you. I believe the more that people are aware of this...the more we can do to stop it.  And I joined an organization called "Pearl Alliance".  You'll find them on the right sidebar of this website.

It's part of John and Lisa Bevere's ministry, so I trust them impeccably.  John and Lisa are dedicated people whose ministry I have followed for years.  They are greatly used of God and have a made a huge impact on my life. I hope you will take a moment to view the video that I have here. It's brief and to the point and will open your eyes to this heinous and still growing, problem.

Prayer works my friends.  Pray that God energize them in their work in this area and give them the favor and the finances they need to continue.  In so doing, you will become a modern day Abolitionist.  I did...just this morning.  And it took no time at all. 

And even if you just send them 5 bucks and give up a Starbucks coffee this week... it will help.  Five dollars goes a long way when we all do it.

Wild Pigs and Politicians

Well, since "pork" is on our minds this week, as well as the push to rob us of our freedoms, i.e. "socialism"... I thought I would share a bit about wild pigs.  We have lots of them living down in the woods by the creek.  They sort of keep to themselves and we rarely see them. But if we wanted to catch them, there is a way to do it.

Do you know how to catch wild pigs?

You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat; you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.

Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves,and they do not resist. The do not even fight back. They just accept their captivity.

Is this what is happening to America? The government keeps pushing us toward socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc., while we continually lose our freedoms -- just a little at a time.

Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire

Well, now that we've had a little time to read the two ton stack of papers known as the "stimulus" bill... I have one thing to say.

Liar, Liar, pants on fire...nose is longer than a telephone wire...

Had that filed under "Stuff I remember saying when I was a kid."  Usually when someone on the playground wasn't telling the truth.

What else can you say, when someone says right to your face, "there are NO earmarks in this bill"...and then you count nine thousand of them.  No exaggeration, folks...nine thousand earmarks.  Pure pork...    Can you say "oink, oink"?

There is nothing "stimulating" about this bill except for the fact that it makes a thrill go up Nancy Pelosi's leg and makes her jump up and down like a pogo stick.

Let's face it, folks...we've been "had". And that's putting it nicely. I think you all know what I really mean. 

For a long time, I kept shaking my head and saying, "how can he say that?  How in the world can Obama keep saying that there are no earmarks... does he think we can't read? Does he think we can't count?

  And then it hit me... It's a game with him. A game of semantics.  If the the president  calls "earmarks" something else... and keeps repeating often enough there are none... he feels justified and does not believe he is a liar, and pretty soon we will all begin to accept his statement that "there are no earmarks". 

I told you months ago when this nightmare began forming that it could go here...and worse. And if you look at the numbers, and what is happening to our way of life in America, where this is headed...you will see that I was right.

Socialism...is one step away from communism. Karl Marx, in fact, said that it is the "transition" from capitalism to communism. 

 "Socialism" is a dirty word, folks. Don't let Newsweek or anybody else tell you different.

For a while there I was thinking that BO BO... really did have a desire to turn things around for us. But let me tell you, folks. He does not. It has become increasingly clear to me that he believes socialism is right, and communism is better. 

I truly believe that he is not reacting to the obvious and impending destruction of free enterprise with responsible actions, i.e. continuing on this path even though history is telling him it will destroy America to do so...is because that is exactly what he wants.  That is the "change" he campaigned for.

Barack Obama fully intends to destroy capitalism. That is his ultimate agenda. To make America what "he" believes it should be.  He is a socialist.  And his beliefs are evident in his books.  But just in case you don't have time to read his books...since you're probably now working two jobs to make ends meet... just try remembering what he said during the campaign.  Basically, he wants to take YOUR hard earned money and give it to other people. People who don't work...people who aren't responsible and buy houses that are more than they can afford and people in other countries who want abortions.

Trust me, folks...he's saying, "The sky is falling, the sky is falling" but inside...he is smiling.  Because everything is going exactly according to his plan.  Before you can build a new house on the same property...you have to tear down the old one, don't you?

Think about it...if socialism is what he wants...what he believes is "best" for America... then capitalism is his enemy. He would not only want it's demise but he would strive for that to happen.

Remember a few weeks ago when Rush Limbaugh said, "I don't want Obama to succeed...if socialism is his goal"...?    Everyone got their knickers in a twist because he dared to say he wanted Saint Obama to fail...   but why would you want him to succeed if his goal is to destroy our way of life?? I mean...DUH...

I'm getting tired of everybody standing in the room with a giant  elephant that none of us can talk about.  We just stand around and sip our drinks and try to look around the beast and ignore it. 

Well,  I heard Alan Keys call it what it was last night on Fox news...and it was refreshing.  So that's what I'm doing today...and from now on.  And that is what I suggest you do.

Let's just call it what it is.  That's the first step to stopping it, folks.  Get out of denial!  This country is now being run by a socialist and his pack of socialist/communist cronies. 

 We are currently outnumbered. But if people will get their heads out of the sand by next year and vote republican...we stand a chance of turning it around.  

Yes, folks...there is another election next year, and if we can get some back up in there, we stand a fighting chance.

Please...forget how you may have voted in the past and plan on voting republican. It is imperative if we are to save America. 

 Democrats will lie to your face and not blink. Know why? Because Karl Marx is their hero and he taught that the end always justifies the means.

In other words...do what ever you have to...say what ever you have to...to get what you want. Everyone will thank you in the end...when socialism prevails.  Don't take Kate's word for it. Google Marxism and see if it's not exACTLY what Obama is giving you right now.  

And do one more thing for me this week...will ya?  Go buy a bag of pork rinds at the store.  Send a message to Washington that we aren't stupid...we know what pork is and we know what Obama is doing...no matter what he says.

A Little Valentine Gift For You...

If you've been feeling like I have lately, you don't even want to watch the news.  And when you do, you talk loudly to the TV and wonder if everyone has lost their minds. 

The things that are happening are like a bad dream that we can't wake up from. And what I hear over and over is, "But what can we do?"   Well I have an answer for ya, folks.  And it doesn't involve contacting your Senator and Congressman for the umpteenth time.  That is beginning to feel a little useless, too.

I mean...with the incredible passage of this monstrosity of a so-called "stimulus" bill...that absolutely NO ONE read before voting for... it became clear to me and most of the rest of "thinking" America that our representatives are either not representing us, or they cannot...because they are outnumbered by the left.

The frustration of this reality has caused some of my readers as well as other bloggers to even talk of leaving the country. 

Leave America?  I don't think so... I live in Texas, folks...and along with Superman and The Lone Ranger...we Texas kids grow up learning the words of William B. Travis, who led the fight at the Alamo. "I Will Never Surrender Or Retreat"

Here is the statement in context;

Oh Baby!

Well, it seems as if everyone has taken a rest from Bush bashing in order to bash single mom, Nadya Suleman out in California.

I have to admit I've been watching the story from the first and made a point to see the Dateline interview last night.

No one has had anything good to say and I wanted to hear her side. I wanted to hear her talk and see if she was, indeed, "crazy", as everyone is accusing her.

My opinion, after hearing the interview is that she is not only not crazy...but quite intelligent.  She is a woman that knows what she wants and did what she had to do to achieve it. Even though she is of modest means.  

Now, I'm not "for" invitro fertilization under such circumstances. I would never advise a single woman to seek motherhood without a husband.  That isn't God's plan.

But in the society in which we live...a society that seems to prize "women's rights" over their own womb... why is she being so bashed?  

I've been reading the blogs and the news comments and it just makes me shake my head in disbelief at the way people talk out of both sides of their mouth.

I mean... "she's costing us taxpayer money!!!"  

 Oh really...  and Obama is not?  

"She's SELFISH...she's not thinking of the other children!!!"   

  Puh-lease...  who thinks about the other children when they decide to have another baby??  Having a baby is a personal decision that is always based on "self".  A couple either talks about it and decides to have one...or they go "oops"...and then have one... either way, it is about what "they" want...not anyone else.  Certainly not the children they already have. Nobody asks their children if it's ok for mommy and daddy to have a baby.

She doesn't have a lot of money...but then many people raise large families without much money.  Truth be told...most of us come from families who didn't really have enough money when mom became pregnant...and it probably was not a "planned" pregnancy.   My mom was eighteen when I was conceived. Married only four months.  Was she selfish?  I don't think so. I love my life. I'm glad I was born.

And Michelle and Jim-Bob Dugger...they are amazing!  You can see them at www.duggarfamily.com I love to watch that family in action.  Eighteen beautiful, well mannered, godly children...and probably will have a few more.  And why shouldn't they?  They love their children. Their children are happy and love each other and above all, love God.  What in the world is wrong with that?? 

Oh...let me answer that for you.  Leftist influenced society... that's what.    "They"  have decided that it is wrong to have more than two children...and they openly punish people with stares, rejection, nasty comments...and yes, emails...if they dare to have as many as six...never mind fourteen... or eighteen, as Michelle and Jim Dugger have.  They see nothing wrong with sending hate mail and publically rebuking these good people...because they choose to embrace "life"...and not death.  They seek to give love to little ones...in place of climbing social ladders and materialistically "competing with the Jones".  They choose children...instead of "stuff".   

I applaud them.  I think their heads and hearts are in the right place...and the people that are criticizing them... have their priorities screwed up. 

But, Kate, you say...fourteen??   If she thinks she can handle it... why not?  If she loves them, feeds them, clothes them and kisses their little chocolate covered faces for the next eighteen years... they'll be ok.  Who knows... one of them may turn out to be a doctor who comes up with a cure for cancer. Or a police officer who saves your grandchild's life one day.  What will you say then?

Just because some children are greatly planned and born into wealthy homes...is no guarantee that they will contribute good things to society.  The annals of history are full of stories of great men and women who came from humble beginnings.  

Let's stop bashing this woman...and let's pray for her to make it. Let's pray for her children to grow up strong and healthy and become everything that God wants them to be.  And consider this... if she had had fourteen abortions...would anyone be saying anything?  Or would they be declaring her right to do so?    Kate~

The First Two Weeks...

Well, folks, I've been sitting back and just watching since the fateful election night.  I still do not understand why this happened, but I know that God tests the hearts of men and that a nation usually gets exactly the kind of leader it deserves. 

That said, I want to state that I totally rejoiced today at the announcement of Michael Steele as the new head of the Republican party. If you aren't familiar with him...you should google him up.  He is a man of integrity. A godly man.  Highly intelligent, intuitive and moral. 

 I think he has his finger directly on the pulse of this nation and he will definitely turn things around for our party.  I am excited.  He is just what we need.  

I was hoping that I would turn out to be wrong about Obama. But here we are just a couple of weeks into his presidency, and we are all less safe...from the closing of Gitmo and releasing of murderous men who would cut your head off in a fingersnap...to the increase in funding for abortions...a procedure that stops the beating of a baby's heart. 

Call it what you will. But when a heart is forced to stop beating...whether it's a "wanted" heart or not... I call it "murder".  And I especially call it murder when the baby is turned around backwards so that it is born breach...only the head is not allowed to be "born".  No...with all of the baby out...but it's head,  a large syringe is jabbed into the back of it's little neck and the brains are sucked out.  No anethetic or anything. Animal rights people wouldn't let that happen to a rabid dog.  But we do it to little innocent babies..and call it "partial birth abortion".  It is what it says, folks... the baby is "partially born"

I'm not makin' this up. Google it for yourself...only  be prepared to throw up. 

Congress, under president Bush, stopped this horrific procedure. But our President Obama has already allowed for it to begin once more.

And on top of it comes an attempted mugging of America under the guise of "stimulus".  Oh...please.  We may not be as politically aware in America as we were in my youth...but I think we all know the difference between a "stimulus plan" and a cash grab for millions of dollars to fund pet liberal projects.  I mean, ACORN???  Sheeesh...they are still under investigation for the stuff they did during the election.  

But the thing that really made me shake my head in disbelief...even though I knew he was going to do it... was his speaking to the the Muslims via Al Jazeera, the top Muslim news source... as his very first interview after becoming president.  What a slap in the face of Americans.

"Yes, you elected me, but let me speak first to people who would cut your head off in a New York minute or throw acid in your wife's face for being in public without a burka."

That's a little revealing, folks.  Am I the only one who sees it?  Nah....I'm pretty sure Rush Limbaugh does. Rush...who, according to our new "leader", we should not be listening to.   Funny, I don't remember any president in the history of our nation who has had the audacity to try and tell us who we should and should not be "listening" to. 

Oh, I know, he was talking to the GOP senators. But, folks, they represent me. And so when he talks to them...he is talking to me...and to the other's that those Senators represent. Don't brush that off too easily. 

Let me close by sharing a little story with you. It happened about ten years ago up in Dallas. I was leaving Blockbuster's and it was quite late at night. The parking lot was dark.  I was almost in my SUV when I heard a lady calling to me from across the street.  I turned to look at her and she was waving frantically with a big bodacious smile on her face like we were old friends.

My hand was still on the car door and everything inside me was screaming..."Get in the car and lock the door...NOW!" 

But she was so intent on reaching me and so smiley and friendly and I didn't want to appear rude. So I was resisting the red light flashing warning that was coursing through my body...just staring at her and trying to figure out where I knew her from. 

All that happened in about two seconds...and then, even as she was still running towards me and smiling, I overcame my need to be polite and yielded to the warning feelings.  I quickly opened the door, jumped in, and pushed the automatic lock button.

Just as I did...she reached the SUV and her face changed from "friendly" to furious...angry and highly volatile. She began screaming curse words at me and beating my window with her fist.  Personally, I was really glad that I had listened to that inner warning, instead of ignoring it.

Folks, you're gonna start feeling those warnings pretty soon, if you haven't already.  Don't ignore them.   Do something to protect yourself and your family.  Or it's going to go from bad to worse.

Start by getting the email address and phone number of your Congressman and your Senators.  And every single time you get the warning feeling...you contact them and tell them where you want them to stand on the issue. They work for you...don't forget that.

We'll keep our eye on 2012. I do believe Sarah will be back for that. But we mustn't overlook 2010...when there will be another election of our representatives...and they should know... that we are watching their every move and fully intend to vote accordingly.

Hang In There, Soldier...

Well, it was a long night folks.  Not for the election, really.  But for me.  I tossed and turned. I cried. I asked God why throughout the night.   But no answer was forthcoming.   He's like that, you know. He waits til you calm down to talk about it.  Remember when your mom used to send you to your room and say, "when you calm down we'll talk about it"...    

Ok...so that's what happened.   Do I understand now?  Not really. I just know that He alone is God...and my life and times are in His hands.   He is God.  Not me.  He doesn't always share the plan with me...but He expects me to always trust that He has one. 

So what do we do now?  We pick up our wounded and we go back to the camp...and we wait for orders from our Commander in Chief... Jesus Christ.     He is the one we take orders from. We are in His army. We are in His Kingdom...and His Kingdom is not of this world. 

That's really all I have for you today, folks.  There are a lot of scary blogs out there. And a lot of hate.  But our weapons are not carnal for the tearing down of strongholds. They are divinely powerful. And faith does not work through "hate".  Faith works through Love.   Love is a powerful weapon.  That's why we are commanded to love our enemies.

I am hurt and I am saddened that John McCain did not win. I think he would have been the most wonderful and honorable president in the history of this nation.  And Sarah... I can only hope she will try again in 2012...because...she is awesome.  And I hold her in great esteem.

But we must not hold these people in higher esteem than we hold our God.  His ways are not our ways. His ways are higher...by far... than our ways.  And now is the time for trusting Him.

I want to encourage you to pray for the president elect. To pray first for his salvation...and the salvation of his wife and daughters.  Don't write me nasty emails about what a "Christian" he is...ok?   Just pray for him to enter into that relationship with God through the Blood of Jesus Christ...that changes us into His image rather than the image of the world.  Will ya pray that this week?   And will ya just tell God..."I don't get it...but that's ok... because I believe that You do, Lord.  And I'm following you..."

Hang in there, soldiers...be strong. Be a source of encouragement to someone today... It's gonna be alright.  Jesus is still on the throne...and He alone is Lord.  He'll let us know what our orders are...and you know how CO's can be... sometimes you don't get those orders until just before it's time to move out. Suddenly...

There is still time folks. God does things "suddenly".  And He does it in answer to our prayers. 

Remember how it was for Moses when he stood at the edge of the Red Sea with a million scared people behind him?...listening to the thundering of the hooves of Pharoah's army?   It was certain death either way...  certainly the "polls" would have called it for Pharoah...but God...had another plan.  And as Moses stood and believed...God made a way...when there was not way.  So much for the "polls" of the day, huh?

How about Daniel?  Tossed into a dark pit full of hungry lions...and then a stone rolled over the mouth of the pit. Total darkness.  Talk about an opportunity for fear.  Again, folks, I'm quite sure the polls would have called it for the "lions".   But God...had another plan...and responded to Daniels prayers by sending an angel that literally "shut the mouth of the lions". 

It was looking pretty bad for Mordacai, Esther and all of Israel, too. The edict to kill them had already gone forth. And Haman had ordered the gallows built for Mordicai. Again, I'm very certain that the "polls" back then would have called it for Haman...but God...had another plan and He heard Esther's prayers on behalf of her nation.

Polls don't mean anything, folks, when God is involved and when His people pray. 

We have less than 48 hours now before America's future will be decided. Today is Sunday.   PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR NATION!

Pray like you've never before prayed. Call on His name which is above every name that is named in heaven and on earth.

Pray the Scriptures. "No Weapon formed against us..against the people of God in the United States  of America...will prosper'

Pray THY KINGDOM COME...THY WILL BE DONE.  Pray.  It worked for Moses, Daniel, Esther...and many others throughout the Bible.

Folks...God makes a way...when there is no way.  This is not the time to sit back and say "whatever will be, will be"... this the time to pray.  Remember...if Jesus Christ is your Saviour, you have been given authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and ALL THE POWER OF THE EVIL ONE...that nothing shall by any means harm you"... Luke 10:19... but you have to stand on that. You have to declare it with your mouth and your heart...in prayer.

That is what I will be doing for the next 48 hours.  Oh, I won't be on my knees the whole time. But we don't have to. God hears our prayers no matter what we are doing. So even if you're washing the car, or making dinner... bathing the kids or reading a book... keep praying...seeking His Divine intervention in this situation.  Our country has never been more at risk than it is right now... I'll see you on Wednesday, folks.  Meantime...let's hold hands across America and turn our faces toward heaven...remembering that our help comes from above...and God does things...suddenly.

I Ask For America...

I was thinking about my time in South Africa last night. I was thinking about it because I am praying a great deal for our country lately...for this election that will determine our direction for at least the next fifty years...and perhaps forever.   And I was wondering if anyone else in the world is praying for us. 

Oh, I know lots of Americans are praying. But folks, we have Christian family all over the world who are watching what is happening to us right now...and many of them live in countries that have already gone from socialist/Marxist to Communist dictatorships.   "Were they praying for us?", I wondered.

All at once a very strong memory came back so clearly to me that I couldn't hold back the tears.

It was 1985 and I was in church. It was a big church in a suburb of Johannesburg.  We had over 5000 members. And we were singing...a new song that had just come up in the spirit of our worship leader. I wish I could put the tune here...but I can only put the lyrics.

                    I ask for South Africa,

                    I call her by name...

                    I present her to the Father,

                    in Jesus name.

                    May she be found righteous,

                    May she not be ashamed

                    When she stands before You, Lord

                    On that great judgement day.

It was powerfully anointed and we were singing in such unity, when suddenly the pastor stopped us and said,

"we need to sing this for America"... and we changed the lyrics right there to;

                           I ask for America

                           I call her by name

                           I present her to the Father

                           In Jesus name...

I had never heard people from another country pray for my country...sing for my country... and my heart suddenly swelled with emotion that I can still remember...still feel.   The tears poured forth and I was so touched by hearing all of these South Africans with so many problems of their own...suddenly leave them aside in order to intercede for America.

I believe that God was answering my question...my wondering by bringing that memory back to me.   "Yes", He was saying, "Yes...many others around the world are being raised up right now to pray for America."

And I take great comfort in that...as I sing that long ago song for my country this morning... And, indeed, I do "ask for America"...

It is only six days now... Please join me in prayer for our country as we ask God for His mercy over us...and pray, "Thy Kingdom come...Thy will be done."   Kate~

         

If It Walks Like a Duck...and Quacks Like a Duck...

Well, the good news, folks, is that gas has now gone below $70.00 a barrel and that price is beginning to be reflected at the pump. This is awesome news for families like us. We live in the country and my husband drives 70 miles one way...every day...to work.

However, the bad news is that two of the most vicious, and dare I say, "evil", dictators are standing in the wings and proclaiming along with OPEC that they are about to halt production of oil so that our prices will soon begin to rise.

Now, I don't know about you...but I see a plan here. An attempt to control the outcome of the election. These guys don't want anything good happening in our economy right now because they support...openly support...Barack Obama. And that is their man. That is who they want in office. No, really. They said so...outloud. Where were you?

Here is a list of just some of the enemies of freedom, the enemies of America and what they say about Barack Obama;

Fidel Castro The former Cuban president gave a qualified endorsement to Mr Obama whom he described as "the most-advanced candidate" in the race for the White House.

Ahmed Yousuf Hamas' top political adviser in the Gaza Strip, said Hamas "hopes" Obama will win the presidential elections and "change" America's foreign policies.

Incidentally, Barack Obama's campaign said that it is "flattered" that Hamas' endorsement of the Illinois senator compared him to John F. Kennedy...though it objects to any diplomatic contact with the terrorist group..... huh? Talk about speaking out of both sides of your mouth...sheeesh.

And Libyan dictator, Muammar Gaddafi...had many interesting things to say in a speech he gave...stating proudly that Barack Obama was "a Muslim" and that he "studied in an Islamic school in Indonesia"... thus making him, "our" (Libya's) "African, Kenyan brother"...

Why do you suppose these, anti-American, Marxist dictators all love Barack Obama?

It's time to wake up folks. This is so deadly serious. The very life that we have always known as Americans...will cease to exist soon, if Obama is elected. I can promise you that.

He is not just a "leftist"... He is a Marxist. He all but said so in his own book, "Audacity of Hope". Don't take my word for it. Read it. He states over and over how he "chose his friends" purposefully. And, folks, let me tell you who his "friends" were/are;

Obama offered a testimonial at Khalidi’s 2003 farewell dinner; Other individuals giving testimonials on Khalidi included William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn. (Sol Stern and Fred Siegel, "Mideast Parley Takes Ugly Turn At Columbia U.," The New York Sun, 2/4/05)

So Barack Obama offered a testimonial at Khalidi's farewell dinner along with...who?? ...William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn... two of the biggest HATERS of America that there ever were.

Marilyn Katz - Katz organized Vietnam War protests through Students For A Democratic Society (SDS), including throwing nails in the street to thwart police officers. (Jo Becker and Christopher Drew, "Pragmatic Politics, Forged On The South Side," The New York Times, 5/11/08

Marilyn Katz is a friend of Bill Ayers, and defended this man who hates America when his association with Obama surfaced.

Folks...John McCain called this man "an old washed up terrorist". John McCain is being too kind. This man, even today, will tell you that he is NOT SORRY for what he did...and wishes he had done more bombings of our country. He even said so on the very day that our hearts were broken over what happened to the World Trade Center in New York...On 9-11. Folks...Bill Ayers HATES America. He is not shy to tell you,either.

I repeat, folks, Barack Hussein Obama is a Socialist, Marxist. If that doesn't resonate with you...then let me tell you specifically what that means for your bank account.

He sees nothing wrong with taking the hard earned money of some and giving it away to those who do not work. Or those who have not struggled through college and spent years paying off college tuition loans. He says so...openly. He looked Joe, the plumber, right in the face, folks, and said, "I think we should spread the wealth around".

Okayeee... whose wealth? Mine? My next door neighbors? Joe the plumbers? Or yours?? Whose wealth will he take...to give to people who sit around all day waiting for money to drop in their laps...instead of getting a job and earning it themselves?

Huh? Are you serious? Do you not know that big corporations pass on any and all taxes to you?? Through the raising of product prices...and the firing of employees. Or the "freezing" of salaries of those employees.

It doesn't work like that, folks. When a tax and spend democrat says he wants to raise taxes...and brother, this one has said it big time... he MEANS it. And you better know that it's coming out of your pocket...and mine. I don't care what he says...he is going to tax us out the wazzuu...and then send "checks" to people who don't want to work. Why?? For the same reason that all Marxist, Leninists do... so that the people become dependent on the government...become the slaves of the government. Do not think for themselves or dare to take a stand against what almighty "Government" requires of them.

This is just the opposite of Democracy, folks. In a Democracy we have a government, "of the people, by the people and for the people." You see? In a Democracy, which America is... the government is supposed to be our servant. Doing what the people ordain... not the other way around. The other way round is Marxist thinking...

Folks...please...PLEASE... just google "Marxism" "Socialism"... don't take Kate's word for it. Seriously...it won't take ya long. Take five minutes to see what these people believe. Because that is what you are going to have if you put this man in office. I don't care what he says he'll do...it is his core belief system that will dictate his actions and decisions if he is to access the White House...and God forbid that should happen.

Recently, Joe Biden tried to mock John McCain by saying "if it looks like a duck...and quacks like a duck...it IS a duck"...
